the addiction holds me in its grip
fools me into believing i have control
tells me its ok and badgers me for being afraid
its so much more then a liquid
its a saviour a enemy masked behind sweet words
when it takes over everything but it fades away
i become controlled not the controller
it puppets me on promises it will make my life better
