Question About Alcohol - August 31st 2010, 10:58 PM

Figured this was the best place to put this. I don't drink but I have a friend who does. We're supposed to be going home on Friday but now I'm kind of skeptical about having her drive because she might party on Thursday. She's kind of a big girl but still though I worry about it. Maybe I should drive instead, I don't know.

Just need some advice on what I should do. I don't want to turn her down but at the same time I don't want to drive with her if she goes out the night before we're supposed to leave.

Depending on how much she drinks and how much sleep she gets, she might still be drunk when she wakes up/have a bad hangover. I think you should drive, that way you're not turning her down and you're still safe.

If she drinks the night before there is no problem in telling her that you wish to drive. Just tell her you would prefer to drive. Who knows she may actually want you to anyways, depending on how she feels in the morning.
I've woken up with a terrible still drunk hangover and it was horrible. I wasn't driving anyways but I wouldn't have wanted to drive.

Re: Question About Alcohol - September 1st 2010, 05:03 AM

she'd have to drink a heroic ammount and sleep about 4 hours for her to still be drunk, if anything she'd be more tired or hung over, but its almost impossible for to be drunk even 8 hours unless she drinks an aquarium and doesn't sleep :P

if she's really tired or really hung over, call her an idiot and you drive obviously.

Thanks

I just came flat out yesterday and asked if she was gonna go party on Thursday and she said 'no'. I'm gonna take her word for it and then we'll see if she was telling the truth on Friday (I have serious trust issues.)
