Me. - April 9th 2022, 08:10 PM

I started drinking alcohol again when I'm upset and feeling depressed. One of my siblings keeps doing horrible things to me and I feel like this helps, but it doesn't. I said that I would not do this again and I am. I know drinking alcohol is not okay and I'm by myself when I do this and I shouldn't be doing this. I don't know what is wrong with me.

Hi there, I'm so sorry to see this hasn't gotten a response yet! How are you doing now? Were you ever able to talk to anyone in person about this? If not, I think it would be a good idea to. People can use alcohol as a way to cope, and I'm glad you're able to recognize that drinking excessively is not good. If you can't talk to your parents, do you think you could talk to a friend, a teacher, or another trusted adult about this? You shouldn't have to deal with this alone.

Please take care of yourself and reach out again if you need to.

There's nothing wrong with you. Don't think mad.
Depression is an ugly beast.
Don't think that you must say something that helps, you said just your opinion. If people doesn't want to listen, then fine! Next one! The important thing in this cases is not to think you're the worst and everything will be fine!
