Would a doctor be able to tell??

I'm not really sure why this came to my mind today but I was wondering... If you think you may have had a miscarriage very early in your pregnancy (like less than a month) could you go see a doctor and would he be able to tell you if you did or not? Assuming you didn't know initially that you were pregnant.

Yes, a doctor would be able to tell you had had a miscarriage. Even if you had not yet noticed you were pregnant, a doctor still would be able to note the signs of a miscarriage. If you didnt even know you were pregnant, a miscarriage that early on probably just seemed like a heavier/more cramp-filled period. Doctors are often able to tell if a miscarriage did in fact occur if no pregnancy is present, but there is still small deposits of HCG in a blood test (the pregnancy hormone, which takes the body a little while to flush itself of after a miscarriage).

How long after a misscarriage can a doctor tell, though? Like, how long does the hormone take to wash out of your system?
I am in a similer situation, although I would have been way more than a month pregnant, more like 2.5. And I would have "misscarriaged" about 3-4 weeks ago.
But I was wondering the same thing as the original poster.
