Physical issue?? -

Hello!
So today during gym class I almost passed out, my heart rate was between 136 and 152 the whole time, and I was extremely dizzy, my skin was a purplish color on my lower extremities, and my vision was blurry.
Does anybody know what could have caused it?
My knees got weak for a while after the "episode" and my hands were shaky afterward. My school nurse told me I needed to speak to my doctor about it because it could be something big.
My blood pressure wasn't high/low, I wasn't malnourished (I had eaten breakfast and I ate a lot the day before, etc.), and I wasn't dehydrated, so I don't know what caused the episode.
My family has a history of diabetes, lupus, and some other illnesses, so I don't know if it's one of those or something completely different.
Thanks for any advice!

We're not medical professionals so we can't really diagnose anything specific, but has this happened before or is this the first time it has ever happened? Were you anxious, was it too hot in there, etc?

1. Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)
• This condition can cause an excessive increase in heart rate (tachycardia) upon standing or during physical activity, leading to dizziness, blurry vision, weakness, and shakiness.
2. Orthostatic Hypotension
• A sudden drop in blood pressure when moving from a seated or lying position to standing, which can lead to dizziness, weakness, and blurred vision. It could also contribute to the purplish discoloration of lower extremities.
3. Cardiovascular Issues
• Arrhythmias or other heart-related problems could cause elevated heart rates, dizziness, and the sensation of weakness or shaky hands.

Be sure you reach to your medical team, describe to them exactly what happened or what's been happening.
