Medication, sex, orgasms? - March 9th 2016, 06:27 AM

So I was on Effexor for 1 month and had bad side effects from it. My climaxes stopped and it's been three months since I've stopped taking it. I am able to climax but since I have taken that medicine, I fear my climaxes will never be normal again.any advice or help? Thanks.

Difficulty in achieving orgasm is a well-documented side effect of psychiatric medication.

The fact that you are able to climax again is a positive sign.

Medication can take a while to leave your body completely, so things should continue to improve as time goes by.

Be kind to yourself.
