Could This Be Caused By Diabetes? - May 12th 2009, 01:03 AM

Just so you know, I haven't been diagnosed with Diabetes at this point. Over the last couple days, I've been seeing really tiny white spots just pop up out of nowhere and disappear really fast. It's also been associated with dizziness.I also want to know does Root beer smell fruity to you? The reason why is 30 minutes ago when I exhaled a lot of air I smelled Root beer really strong and KNOW that I didn't have Root beer because I HATE Root beer. Thanks in advance! ^_^

Everthing I see seems to be a lie. And everything you see in me you think is the truth. But, really all you see is what I'm masking the real me with. You never see me cry. Because I'll never let you. And you'll never see me die because I feel like I already have in a way.

The best thing for you to do at this point would be to contact your doctor and go see them. Diabetes can cause alot of symptoms and they can differ from person to person.

Go to the ER right now, you are very hyperglycemic and need insulin, check your BGL and if it's high go right away or call 911 if you can't drive. You need to go if it is high. If it's normal, call urgent care and have them get you in within a day or two, if they can't, go to the ER and the doctor there will assess you, and then they make follow up appointments for you.

My mum is diabetic and she gets dizzy when her blood sugars are too high or low. But however it doesn't mean your diabetic, if your seeing small white dots it could be stress or something, see a doctor.

I do not know about the bumps; however, sweet-smelling breath is a common sign of hyperglycemia. This does not necessarily mean that you have diabetes, but it would be best if you make an appointment with your doctor ASAP, to get this checked out. Don't panic, but do not ignore this, either. Hyperglycemia/Diabetes, if left untreated, could cause you many complications, including coma.

Take care.

I feel helpless for the most part,

I'll never get over it,
but I'm gonna try
to get better and overcome each moment
in my own way"

Diabetes can make you go blind. So I'd say If you're having changed vision, It might be possible. I think three people in my family have diabetes.
