"The one you really are
But you don't have to hide your heart
You're a miracle in every way
Sometimes it might seem hard
your whole world falls apart
Just know that when you hear the rain
Even heaven cries
Everybody cries
It's ok to doubt
Yourself sometimes
You don't have to be afraid
Of what you fear inside
It's alright, it's alright
Cause even heaven cries"

Get to your doctor/hospital. Chest / abdominal pain is very serious. It could be internal bleeding, it could be problems with your heart, it could be anything.

Hi Patty,
That sounds pretty bad. I don't really know what it is or what it could be but lets face it..eating food and then making your body throw it back up can't be helpful at all to your physical health. I know that chunks of blood (so thick blood that is unlikely to come from a cut in the throat) is usually quite bad...and chest pain etc could be a number of things. Yes I think it's a fantastic idea to tell your shrink and go to the doctor.
I really hope you're okay. Take care, Ally x

How about... try to stop doing it?
Even if you do visit a doc & they give you a bunch of meds. IT IS NOT GOING TO HELP if you will continue with binging & purging. You are engaging in a destructive behavior & it's not just going to go by without a mark/harm on your body.
"Self-induced vomiting:
Damages the digestive system: it can cause a peptic ulcer which is an area of the stomach or duodenal lining which becomes eroded by stomach acid. These are known as peptic ulcers. The symptoms can vary, with some people not noticing anything out of the ordinary but others may vomit blood and experience abdomen or chest pains. The pain is usually increased when the individual eats or drinks. Peptic ulcers can be serious and need immediate attention if you are vomiting blood or passing digested blood in your stools." http://www.eatingproblems.org/epseffect.html

I think a Doctor and letting your shrink know is the best idea. For whatever reason, blood is not good. Chest and stomach pain cannot be good. Get medical help please.
