The voice in her head never goes away
But someday's it’s a little whisper
And others it’s a loud scream
Never know what it’s going to be
But she does know
One tiny little thing
Recovering from an Eating Disorder
Is a long and windy road
You have to take the good with the bad
There will be slip ups and mess ups
But you got to get back up
And continue to fight
Head on
She wakes up
To a brand new day
Sun is shining hoping it’s going to be
A good day
She ate breakfast but then skipped snack and lunch
She doesn’t know why
But she does know
One tiny little thing
Recovering from an Eating Disorder
Is a long and windy road
You have to take the good with the bad
There will be slip ups and mess ups
But you got to get back up
And continue to fight
Head on
Today is new
So you start out fresh
You eat right on schedule
For every single snack and meal
She feels proud of herself
Because she accomplished a day
Of eating right
But she does know
One tiny little thing
Recovering from an Eating Disorder
Is a long and windy road
You have to take the good with the bad
There will be slip ups and mess ups
But you got to get back up
And continue to fight
Head on
It’s been a week
Things were going fine
Except Sunday
She binged and purged
Like never before
Because her feelings get hurt
But she does know
One tiny little thing
Recovering from an Eating Disorder
Is a long and windy road
You have to take the good with the bad
There will be slip ups and mess ups
But you got to get back up
And continue to fight
Head on
She slipped up and that’s okay
Recovering isn’t perfect
And there is no fucking up.
Keep your head up sunshine
And know people are rooting for you.

This has an awesome message and I like the repetition, too. I feel like the repetition helps enforce the message. I like how you mentioned you never know what each day will bring.
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
