That urge can be killer. I understand completely. As a recovery method I would go for a small, very small, moderated jog around my neighborhood every time I got the urge, or going for a short walk after eating also helps surpress the urge after a meal. try as hard as you can not to break your no purging streak! Once you go for 3 weeks it gets a lot easier to resist that urge and try to eat normally. Also remember your body is going to have to readjust so DO NOT FREAK OUT. It is normal and everything will be okay and your going to feel so much better and healthier after not purging for that long. Trust me. The first month your purge free your going to have a big beautiful smile!:] Try to stay strong and get out of stressful situations!!!

hey there,
so I know you said you have no one to talk to but I really suggest you try a friend if you can or go for counseling or something. Eating disorders are about how you think and feel and it's going to be very difficult to fight against your mind by yourself, if you get what I mean. As in, you need support for recovery. Of course I'm here and the rest of TH, but it helps to have someone in real life, you know? Stress can play a role in how the eating disorder develops and even if you can find a way to vent to a friend or writing in a journal so you get it off your chest and maybe your urges won't be as strong, that can make all the difference. But also, it's important to work on the disorder itself and that I think would need a professional
