Rape and Relationships?

So urm, it's been a while since i've properly posted, so here it goes,
i'm just wondering if i'm the only one whos realtionship and trust in men has been effected by them being raped? It took me a while to realise mine was, i mean, i was raped when i was 7, but i've never been able to cope in a realtionship, but then go through stages of; like not having anything to do with guys to like sleeping with any guy that chats me up, in the last few weeks i had a pregnancy scare (although it was a close friend i slept with), and it completely shook me up, and just made me think like, what are you doing with your life; the rape was the basis of my self harm, and then the drinking, and now the just sleeping about; am i just digging too far into this and just being a waster, or do otherr people feel like this?

Hey Lauren. I'm more than sure many rape victims can relate to this. I know I can for various reasons. I was 5 when it happened to me. Even though back then it didn't truly effect me, it only really hit last year. It made me think about how pointless my "virginity" was. But, I got over that part of it. Though I've been struggling again with the whole "sex is special" aspect of things. I've been doing the same thing as you; Going to different guys for sexual relief.
