We all have different ways of motivation. For me it's completing tasks as quickly as I can in order to relax.

Hello and welcome to Teenhelp! It is wonderful that you have joined us. Sometimes it can be hard to find different things to help us when we need to be motivated. You can make a list of different things that can help get you up and going and try doing them for a while and see how this makes you feel after. When you get up, try going for a walk around your house and if you have any pets have them join you. Also, take a shower, they help pick you up and then find something else to do, reading a book for a while or drawing or painting or writing or calling a friend or baking cookies or brownies or asking a friend to join you for coffee or tea or lunch or something else. Tell yourself whatever you pick to do that you can do this and go for whatever it maybe and try to have fun while you are doing this. I wish you the best with this.

Hi there, welcome to TeenHelp! Thanks for reaching out and I think your question is one many people have. Different things work for different people, so what might work for one person might not work for another! I've learnt that writing down small, short-term goals can be helpful. Also, writing down tasks that I have to complete that day (without a specific time) can be very helpful. It's definitely hard though when things keep getting in the way and we're feeling overwhelmed; so it's important to take a step back and set aside some time for yourself to do the things you enjoy.

Wishing you the best of luck! Please reach out again if you need to.
