wrote this poem about cutting
 
Last time i got the urge to cut I wrote this poem about it...what do you guys think? comment...does it relate at all to what any of the rest of you who have a sh history have felt like? I wanna know if this is normal to feel like this about cutting or if i'm just weird..

Blood
Seeping from the slash on my wrist
Trickling down my arm
Coating my hand with a warm red glove
Dripping soundlessly onto the floor.


Pain
Emanating from my very core
Masking all the agony inside
Releasing the tension of feeling
Creating a trance-like peace.


Blade
Causing this addicting pain
Becoming my choice escape
Leaving me scarred and worthless
Stealing my identity.

so few people actually understand the pain relieving pull of SH. thank you for posting this.

This is a really well written poem. Few people understand self harm.
I hope that you are ok and if you need to talk or anything i am always here <3

Although i agree with Tamz i feel that it should include a triggering warning as some users may find this thread triggering and it may upset some people.
