Hi Faith,

hang in there - I've found that you end up missing not SHing more.

For me, four weeks (!!!). Some shaken resolve, yeah, but hanging in there :)

Firstlyy, I think everybody's doing fantastically, and I really commend you all.
Its definitely not easy, but its worth it <3 keep up the good work.

Well, I caved in, after three long fuckin years of no craves, I caved in.

It's been a week or so since I last cut...actually carved.

I really, really hope I can hold on without it. I don't have much faith in myself anymore.

Hi there,

you should be really proud of yourself for going three years!!!! I think that's proof that you have reason for an incredible amount of faith in yourself.

Slip-ups happen. They suck. But in the end, they're just chances for new beginnings.

There's a passage by Emerson that I really like that for me has been kind of helpful:
Finish everyday and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. This day is all that is good and fair. It is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on yesterdays.

Unless i do it tonight, this is the longest I've gone in over a year. I slipped at 3 months 2 days over the summer.

The most i have stop for is around 9weeks but i just seem to be falling back down again but i am trying to stop again.

We are all here for you, just PM us. You can do it, I have faith in you. Three years is a heck of a long time. You know you can go that long, now try going longer this time.

Waiting for the 150th day xD
Counting the days has actually helped me stave off the urge because I realize that I really don't want to start over...
Plus, though I'm mostly doing this for myself, I'm also doing this for my best friends.
That helps a lot too :]

The last time I cut myself was the Sunday before Memorial Day last year. May 2008.
Just about exactly a year, even though I want to cut practically every day now.
