Question

Possible trigger warning

Ever since I relapsed in December, every time my scars start to heal I’m triggered to do it all over again. I wanted to know if it’s just me being weird or if there are others out there that experience this?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Question

Hi, I'm sorry you are struggling with this and I hope that you will be okay soon. How about the next time you're scars start to heal, try to look at it as how long you haven't self harmed for and that's something that is amazing and try to find something to help calm you and get you're mind off of this feeling for a while so that you can keep making it more days. You can try, reading, watching movies or TV shows, drawing or painting or anything else that you enjoy doing. I hope you will be okay soon.

Re: Question

I also experience this - while my self harm isn't severe enough to leave lasting scars necessarily I do always become more triggered and tempted to relapse once the marks/wounds have faded
