Hi,
thanks for reaching out.
I'm sorry that you haven't got a reply yet. I sincerely hope that your situation has improved, at least a little bit, since you posted the thread. Please keep us updated on how you're doing.

I encourage you to visit the Alternatives subpage on TeenHelp forums (below the Discord banner, in a section called Resources). This is the link to Alternatives:
http://www.teenhelp.org/alternatives/

There you can find a random alternative to self-harm visible immediately after visiting the subpage, or, if you click on Distractions, you're gonna see a long list of activities you could try to occupy your mind with something else than self-harm. Perhaps there is something you could do, or would like to try? The distractions are grouped in categories, so you can have a look at what suits you best.

In the Resources section you can also find Safety Zone and Hotlines. These subpages offer guidance in case of crisis.

I hope you feel better soon, and don't hesitate to reach out again if you need it, be it on the forums, Discord, or via Visitor Message/Private Message.
Sending hugs
xx Sue

Hello, I am sorry that you are having trouble with self harming and I hope that you are doing okay now or a little bit better. When you are getting the feeling to self harm, try finding something to help you get your mind off of this for a while, going for a walk or hike or reading a book for a while or drawing or painting or writing or calling a friend or playing a game or something else that you enjoy doing and hopefully this can help take your mind off of this for a while and you will feel better. Hope you will be okay soon.
