Pet Memories
What are some of the best memories you have of your pets, both past and present?
Some of my favorite memories was the morning routine I had with the youngest cat when I was growing up. |
Re: Pet Memories
My favorite memory with my dog was when I'd get home from school and my dog would get excited that we could take a nap together.

Re: Pet Memories
Some of the best memories I've had with my pets, past and present, is just simply spending time with them and cuddling with them in bed.

Re: Pet Memories
That same cat I mentioned in the original post used to cuddle with me when I slept at night, but his purrs were sensory overload and my mom banished him from my room. I might have gotten a few bites and paw swipes too. :nosweat:

Re: Pet Memories
I've never had any pets, but I loved looking after my neighbours cat. Especially when I would open the door and the cat would come running towards me to greet me

Re: Pet Memories
I had a cat we took in after a loved one got too sick. She died a few years back but she used to walk around the block with me when I walked with my dog, and we were always kind of in awe of that.
One of my cats now likes to watch me get ready especially if I am doing my makeup or something. She reminds me of a little girl watching her mother get ready, if that makes sense. She also really, really likes ice cubes so when we sit down to eat, we get her a little bowl and put some out for her. She has walked across my chest for certain flavors of ice cream. She was stuck to me like glue after a surgery and she got really offended when I couldn't bend down to pet her belly. :p I have another one who is a talker and she'll meow back and forth with you for a while. Sometimes I ask her what a cat says and I'll get a meow. I am probably forgetting some but usually it is the little things I think of, too. |
Re: Pet Memories
One time me and my bf got in a huge fight and I ran into the other room crying. My dog came to me and put his head on my lap assuring me that everything would be ok. I miss that dog.
