Depression and Suicide If you or a loved one is feeling depressed or suicidal, you are not alone. Talk with other users about your feelings here.
Hello to all.
That's my situation... Often I suffer from depression, I know the main cause, but I don't really want to tell. Heh, that's okay I guess... I know how to manage it, but lately is getting worst. I often dream a world that if I die, honestly I don't know who will remember me even for a single second. Except my family, I'm alone. I'm afraid of that.
Enough talking: I'm overthinking.
Can anyone know what helps to not think about it?
I have to find things to do with my time to distract myself. I've picked up reading lately since then I'm in a whole new world, and have also started watching more on Hulu. Going to the gym four days a week helps because it gets out all of my energy. I take a class there so I talk to some of the people in the class. I also play games on my Switch.
Do you think it would help for you to meet new people who you can connect with? Your town may have clubs, social groups, sports teams, volunteer opportunities, and things like that. If you pick up something like that you'll be meeting people who have something in common with you and you can start to form a friendship with them.
I also talk about my issues with my therapist a lot. It's okay if you don't want to tell a therapist what is going on right away, you can build up to it. They're generally unbiased listeners so it can help to get things out.

'Cause you gotta survive
Thank you. The therapist didn't do much... I need more a psychologist I guess...
Meet other people with the same problem will be cool, but won't help. I already tried and I cried.
I'm just unlucky. I'm left handed, and where the illness hit? Right, on my left hand. I can't do nothing I did before anymore. I have to learn all again with the right hand.
A psychologist can definitely be an option! Also remember that sometimes the first therapist, or even psychologist, that you see just doesn't work out for you. It can be trial and error to find one that you really connect with, but it feels great when you do.
It doesn't necessarily have to be people with the same problem as you. Since you mentioned being afraid that nobody would remember you, I was thinking that you could make a few friends who you can hang out with and just have some fun with.
I know you live in Alessandria, but does where you live have physical therapists or occupational therapists? They may be able to help you gain some strength in your right hand and help you at least be more confident doing certain tasks with your right hand.
