today i had some issues with my parents, i was upset over something stupid (just the very principal made me quite angry and down) then I go rant to my mother about it and she ends up making me look bad and this makes me very stressed.....i don't think i can confide in my parents anymore (we have had several distrusting incidents). Tommarow is sunday, dont get me wrong i love God but church makes me feel guilty and bad about myself its a emotional rollercoster sunday is...

    Hey Zane,

I'm sorry you had a bad day, but things do get better! I'd recommend trying to rephrase the way you talk to your parents. People can often get defensive depending on the way you try to talk to them about problems. My parents are very bad about listening to mine as well, so I've had to learn to phrase my issues into a way that they're able to help me. My parents are very down-to-the point kinda people, and prefer me to just come out and talk to them directly and asking for concrete advice about a problem rather than just complaining. Maybe your parents are different, but it's good to try different techniques in order to get parental help.

Good luck at church, I hope you are at least able to worship without feeling as guilty. Stay strong.
