Here is a story.
Once upon a time, there lived a teenaged girl. She was a short girl who loved life. Well, she got abused at home and bullied, which made her viewpoint change from positive to negative.
She had gone through many bad relationships, and finally found "the one", or so she thought. As she and her boyfriend visited one another, he grew distant. He stopped sending sweet paragraphs and started ignoring her and getting mad when she confronted him about it.
One day, this girl got home from school and her parents confronted her about her relationship with this boy. See, she was 15 and he was 19. She also struggled with bipolar, depression, and anxiety, so being confronted about something triggered her. She freaked out and grabbed a knife, threatening to stab herself. Of course she didn't mean it. She just wanted someone to understand how much she loved this guy.
Since no one understood her, she ran away. But cops found her and she got so scared that she cut herself. They took her to the hospital and eventually sent her away to a psyche ward. She stayed there for 3 1/2 days. She turned 16 there. But while there, she found out her boyfriend had cheated on her with many girls.
She fell for his trap. She fell for him. She loved him and was extremely hurt that he was cheating on her. She got mad and when she got home, she messaged him on her friend's laptop. She blew up on him, saying many hurtful things.
Her friends started spreading rumors about her self harm and hospital visitation. They thought she had committed suicide. And they also thought she self harmed for attention. The girl got really depressed over it, as she didn't want people to think those things. She was open about her self harm, as she knew it was a problem.
She also started making herself throw up food and quit eating for a few days. She lost her appetite and felt she couldn't eat anymore.
But she is okay. She will get on with life and learn to love herself again. She is a survivor.
And that girl is me.
