A/N I was going to write this yesterday evening, but I was rather exhausted and I was rather hyper, so much so I could hardly type. The match yesterday was epic! So good to be back at London Road, watching the boro’ boys on the pitch!

At first, I though a repeat of the last championships was going to happen, with Crystal Palace nearly scoring right at the beginning! But then we seemed to get it back, thank goodness, and it felt as if we were dominating the game. Sadly, a goal was scored by Palace, my predictions of us getting slaughtered 4-0 (and I was apparently being optimistic) coming true...

But we fought back and held our own! We always get a sudden determination when a goal is scored, whether one of our own, or one from the opposing team. Mr Tommy Rowe played extremely well, shooting and steaming; he was close to scoring more than once. I forgot how gorgeous he is too...

Half Time: 1-0 Crystal Palace

Second Half, Posh did well, I don’t know what Darren did, but it sure worked. Dominating from the start we played our best, with Mark Little and Gabby Zak making a fantastic defence! Lee Tomlin was also impressive today, someone who I feel can be a little patchy and make mistakes played one of his best games. He made some excellent shots and got out of some sticky situations, only bad luck made it that he didn’t score.

What’s more, he even set-up an excellent free-kick, sending it right into the legs of Grant McCann, and HE SCORE’S!!!!!!! It was an excellent goal and in our 1st match! This tops last champs when it took 8 games to get a goal! The crowd went wild in the almost sold out stadium, a noisy group with the least of fans, I’m sure burst eardrums could be found!

This powered the team on, playing with immense pace, the skills of Mark Little really playing out. I think it was him who set up an amazing diving header from sub, David Ball! A fantastic player who pulls out all the stops, one of the best sub strikers Posh has! With only a few minutes left both teams powered on, Crystal Palace wanting to equalize against a team they felt they should have beaten, Posh wanting to score more, and get an even greater goal difference.

Four minutes of extra time, not something we wanted, all of it full of whistling fans, heart’s pumping, knowing we could do this. And you’ll never guess what happened, WE DID IT! WE ACTUALLY WON! IN THE CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Full Time: 2-1 Peterborough United

An entertaining game, not just from the exquisite play seen before me, but the fans was really up to scratch. With our chanting loud, almost as loud as the play-offs, it was a fantastic atmosphere, one that really cannot be explained in words! Something funny? We’re 5th on the league table! In the highest position we’ve ever been in! It’s great! A variety of chants sung, some comical, others tension breaking, one of the best games of my life; it’s good to be back! I’m going to be ok now!
