Alternatives and Coping Methods.

Hi everybody,

For many years our "Alternatives" thread has been one of the most popular on the site, and it has given many people ideas for combating anything from self harm to addictions.

We have now updated and expanded this list to bring you the Alternatives and Coping Methods resource, which lists hundreds of different ideas to help you get through difficult periods in your life. Whether that difficulty is the urge to self harm, anger, sadness, a panic attack or addiction, this resource can help you to cope with it.

The page is split into several different categories, so whether you're at the start of your journey, a little further along or in full recovery mode there's plenty of ideas to help you.

You can access the page here: http://www.teenhelp.org/alternatives/

I hope this helps but if you have any further ideas to add please let our Resource Editor team know.

Take care,
Rob.
