Turning 18 n all that shizz (complete with pictures)

I'm running out of colors to use for these blogs.
Today I've been mostly deciding which camera I want to get. Oh right, so for my birthday my parents gave me a card that said "this card is good for one camera of your choice."
I really didn't think they'd actually get me one when I asked, but they've proved me wrong. This morning my first choice was a Nikon D40..however I think that's changed to a Canon Rebel XS because my brother already has Canon lenses. 
Not like he'll really let me use them...but I'm psyched none the less. I can't wait to get it and start using it...and actually take pictures on a regular basis. So prepare yourself for more photo postings in the near future 
I know you all love seeing pictures of fellow THers, I'll show you some pics of me and my best friend at our birthday dinner. (Our b-days are one day apart) Sooo cue pictures!
They made us sit on a saddle and yell "Yee Haw"
