So, last night I convinced myself to go to a teen support group. I had many doubts before going. Like, there not going to like, they will not understand, you don’t know anyone so why should you go etc. We started out by doing a check in, but we pick pictures and explained our week from there. It was really hard for me because I haven’t explained anything that’s going on in my head to anyone in a long time. We talked about the lies that we tell ourselves and I’ve had those thoughts since at least...

I saw a sign in a shop window last week:
15 WEEKS TILL CHRISTMAS!
So now I'm panicking about not getting everything done in time. Yesterday was a looooong day. I was working 10-2 like I usually do, then I had to wander about for an hour before going back for a Staff Meeting at 3. (Seriously there were about 30 of us trying to fit into the tiny managers' office, and only 7 chairs. No one could move.) That lasted about an hour where we were told that this year we will be selling Christmas...

(Because I'm fully digging The Offspring right now. And Mumford and Sons. And Nirvana. And Fun. So on so forth etcetera, loud music. In fact my psychologist suggested dancing to loud music as a way to stay grounded. Pity that would tear my headphones out of the headphone jack on my laptop . . .)
So in case you're wondering where I've been for the last half a week or so, I was at Tupu Ake again. I felt really unsafe for the first half of last week, and seeing as I've been making really...

Ever since high school began, I've always been searching for answers to this so-called "journey" that I've been embarking on. For the longest time, I've always wanted to figure out this one simple question: who am I truly? Am I the one that constantly has to move to different groups of people to fit in and not be an outcast, or am I the out-going, up-beat, independent one that's not afraid to stand alone and not afraid to meet new people, even if it ends up being that some of those people...

The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in a time of moral crisis, remain neutral
Dante
Dante said it, a very long time ago now. While I don't believe in a literal hell, and I'm uncertain of a metaphorical hell, I do have serious issues with people who try to remain so neutral when times are dire enough to warrant action. The problem is, of course, that this implies that in a time of moral crisis, there is a choice. That's true, though, there's always a choice....

Even though I've been at the same school for a long while since freshmen year, I feel like almost every day is my first day of high school. It's just weird that I feel that way even though I'm now officially an upperclassmen. So, here I am, just finished with my third week of senior year. What do I think of my experience so far? Well, while I really enjoy all my classes, and I'm pretty much set with my plans for college, I just find the socializing aspect of the new school year challenging. The...

i relapsed again yesterday.. i feel pathetic because i had made it through the other urges the couple days before that, and then i gave up. i missed it though. honestly i want to do it again today. i know i shouldn't but today was such a shitty day. Had a panic attack because of too much noise at school.
