Hello everyone,

This year has been challenging and full of change. There have been many days of shock, sorrow, and frustration for us all – in the world, on TeenHelp and undoubtedly in our own lives too. As the world rapidly changes around us some changes have been for the better while many have not. There has been global uncertainty from widespread disease to terrorism and civil war....

As I sit here typing on my laptop in how I'm feeling this late night after coming home from another day at work, I feel a bit unsettled and saddened right now..no it's not something about my relationship thankfully, but more like someone who I really wanted to help. I don't know if she'll ever talk to me again, but I'll never forget how it all happened.

Last Saturday on December 13th, I was out on a crusade with a mission to spread smiles and happiness across the holiday city parade...

The last time I visited with my APRN was right before winter break began. She wanted to assess how I was doing because she recently upped my dose of Zoloft to what people normally are on when they start noticing improval. Except I was feeling like absolute shit due to PMS, being a bit ill, and my roommate keeping me up all night so she couldn't really accurately assess how I was doing. She did give me one of those sheets to fill out to ask how often I felt symptoms such as being worthless, or a...

A very long time.
A lot happened.
I have a laptop again, I thought I was addicted to the internet and maybe I was, but I think it's more likely that I was just lacking the will to do anything else.

And I guess not a lot has changed? I'm still not working, although I'm being assessed for ACC soon - due to the head injury I had as a kid - so maybe my financial situation will improve? I don't know.

I've moved to a new place recently. I haven't quite settled...

I can't BELIEVE it's only a week until Christmas. It only feels like a few weeks ago I started working with Royal Blind and suddenly there's a notice on the HR system that my 3 month probation is almost up. Crazy!
Thankfully I get along with everyone, really enjoy working there, and have been told on more than one occasion by more than one person that they don't know what they'd do without me/I'm such a help because I reduce their massive workload. So here's hoping they keep me!

I am seeing a counsular( I thought I was seeing an psychologist) she is nice and all she is helping a little, but it's just not working. Would seeing a psychologist work better then a consular?

I have to figure out all my packing soon. I usually just take one little bag when I spend a night, this time I'm spending a week! I'm gonna need a trunk...

I have to do the packing on Thursday, then Friday I'll be all over the house, running around trying to bake cookies, wrap presents, and somewhere in-between I have to find time to take a shower before I leave! This is just a royal mess.

Well, first of all it looked like I may have started my leave too early, but it was actually a blessing in disguise.

I went on leave because my aunt, uncle, and my 2 little cousins were coming to visit. Turns out we won't be seeing them until next week. My youngest cousin apparently caught a high fever and got very sick the day they were supposed to come, so they'll be delayed. At least she got sick before coming here, then we'd all be sick. However, I do still have plans to make...
