Please say you love me, like I love you.
Oy !
All the holiday craziness has gone by soooo quickly, did any of us even realised that its over ? I certainly didn't !
Oh well, back to structured life I guess.
I surely miss all the liberty and coolness of the holidays though...no more dancing until 4 a.m., no more sleeping in until noon - ahhh, will I ever even survive going back to school after experiencing such a laid-back lifestyle Oh sure I will ; we all have got to.
Anyway, I spent an awesome Christmas break, like seriously I couldn't have asked for anything better. As some of you might know, I went back to Australia with my grand-ma. We weren't supposed to go until late March but finally the plans changed and I ended up spending my whole break over there. It was fricken exciting ! Since I'd moved to Phoenix a little bit more than 5 years ago, I hadn't returned to Australia. So let me tell you that I was really lacking some Aussie love, hehe.
When we got there I visited some places that I remembered from my youth, took a walk down Lygon Street in Carlton and went back to Casa Del Gelato, the ice cream parlour where they used to give me some free slushies when it was super hot outside and I came back from the pool, haha. I also did some shoppping on Elizabeth Street. Since Elizabeth street is rather close to my old house I was getting nostalgic so we decided to pass by the house. Things were so different up in my old neighbourhood, I barely recognized it. Anyhow, I'll resume the rest of my break in three words since most of what was said above must make no sense to most of you, so here goes : drinking, sun-bathing and dancing (that was four words actually...if you decide to include "and" that is...). I met some pretty awesome people, didn't see any of my old friends though...I would have liked to stay in touch with them when I moved but you know, moving to a whole other continent is way different so ehhh.
So yeah, mostly tanned, played volleyball and didn't sleep much, hehe.
Oh and for those of you that have gone back to school, you can probably guess what the most annoying question a teacher can ask when we get back from a break : "Have you guys rested well ? hope you're all ready for a whole 3 months of school eh !"
Haven't they yet realised that most of us either got to school with a coffee/energy drink/dark circles ?! Whatever, hehe.
Oh and the squeals from all the girls that haven't seen you for 3 weeks and that are awed by your tan (and freckles in my case ) what a joy.
Ahhhh, how I love school, haha. I'm glad to be back but at the same time, I'm still iffy about it all. Some stuff happened over there and my grand-mother seems to be on my back more since we got back. I don't want her cutting my rent if I do anything slightly unthoughful and purely megan-y. Oh well, I'll be an angel if my housing is on the line eh !

Yay a blog! I was wondering when you were going to post one. (:
I'm sooo glad you had a good vacay babe! You defintely needed it. I wish I could have been there with you, because lets face, we'd have fun everywhere.
You better smarten up whoaman if your rent is on the line. Don't wanna disappoint your grandmother. She probably loves you the most out of anyone in your family, ya know? Do right by her. =)
I so wish I had a tan right now. Super jealous of you! And same with the other haters at your school. I'm sure they'll make fun of you too, like saying your skin looks like leather, or you look fake, and blah blah... Only because they're insecure, and wish they could look like you. You're hott. They all know it, and wanna be like you. I mean, who wouldn't, right?
I love you, my lil skank. :O)Posted January 6th 2010 at 05:10 PM by Hollifire -
