Half day...yeah.

I'm in a pretty good mood right now, mostly because school is already over and it's not even 2 p.m. That's the beauty of a thing called having school only in the morning.
Part time schooling rocks ! (:
Anyhow, I have a lot of things that need to be done so it's a wonderful time to get these things over with. I've been dreading to write up my french essay on my best childhood memory. I really am bad at french, it's pretty awful >< Luckily, I have a friend that is bilingual, I will totally take advantage of that tonight. Her phone will definatly be ringing, hehe.
Other than that, today was okay, although I felt ridiculous in ethics class this morning, eh. The teacher asked me if I could read the assignment he had just handed down to us. All was going fine, until we came up to a sentence ("The iceberg and deflated tire dilemmas are very important in order to complete this assignment"). Oh jesus, that sentence. I don't know if I am or not, the only person on this planet that sometimes, repeats a sentence over and over again just because you find the sentence, somehow, amusing and pleasant to the ear. I am not a freak, I promise, but this, I often do without even realising I'm doing it. How screwed is that ?
I have been told many times before that I do that sometimes, whether I read out loud or simply in my head, I will just keep re-reading the same sentence over and over again. I can't really control it, even though I have learned to force myself not to be amused by many sentences with time. It may sound stupid, but it is in fact something that preoccupied me a whole lot, still does. I've been told by a therapist I once had to see that it may be caused by a lack of security feeling from my past, as repeating the same thing made me feel in a way secure. When I was younger I would do something similar. When someone would say something, before answering or whatever, I would silently whisper and repeat the thing that person had just said. For example someone would say "Hey Megan, are you okay ?" I would just whisper "Hey Megan, are you okay ?" before answering. Yeah. I'm weird, I know, but why exactly, I dunno. It's something that I need to work on for now, that's all I know.
Anyway, after repeating that sentence about 4 or 5 times, people started laughing and we quickly moved on to another reader. Thank you Jesus, what a freakin' relief !
Okaaay, enough rambling, you guys probably already think I'm a freak, let's not go further into my weirdness for today.
Je fais essay de Francais maintenant. (did I get that right ? shocker , hehe. )
Much love,
- Megan
