Ready, Set, Holiday!

This week we paid the final balance for our holiday cottage! It's official! We're going on holiday in 30 days!!
I've never been on holiday with my mum and her sisters before so it will be interesting.
I haven't seen York for years, although I really loved visiting it before. It's been about 5 years now so I don't remember that much. Just the parts I saw more often like certain little shops and tourist things and some random little details and stuff. Like why they called this one street The Shambles, and that tourists are referred to as cumfors. There's also a big thing about Vikings there but I think that's in February. I think it was the last time I went that there was an actual battle going on outside the museum. Hundreds of people re-enacting some kind of fight. It was brilliant. I also think I used to know a phrase that I'm sure was something to do with a hat but I can't remember now what it was. I do know it was weird and hard for me to say with my Scottish accent!
Still. It'll be nice to get away for a few days. Thanks to our holiday year starting in April, I have 5 days from next year booked the first week in April for this, and I plan to use my last 3.5 days from this year for the last week in March. In theory I'll have a nice long holiday, but in reality I have two essays I need to do before I go. Will I have them ready before I leave? Probably not. Ah well. Best of intentions. If they are done then I have a few days to chill out and do some exam revision. If they're not done then I have three days to get them finished.
Then all I have to worry about is the exam!
