Exam Essay Stress

Urghhhh

Final exam essay is due in a week today. Tried to work on it yesterday but the OU site was down which was really unhelpful. They've posted an apology and said that they'll let the examiners know there was a disruption. But only for those due in before the 20th. Not helpful.
I've just had a look around the module forum to download notes and stuff uploaded by tutors and my tutor uploaded something. Except that no one can open it. Her response? "I'm not really good with computers, try calling IT. I don't have time for this."
Really? She's been the furthest thing from helpful this entire module. I asked her a question about something for the first essay and her response was to use my judgement. Haven't bothered asking her anything since then.
I did try asking her in the online tutor session, as did others, but she completely ignored us.
There's another session tonight at 7 but I'm not planning on going. Last time I went I wasn't comfortable using my mic because I don't know anyone who was there. She made me feel like an inconvenience the entire time, making comments like "I'll have to do this differently since Louise can't participate properly."
Haven't gone to a tutorial since given that I'm obviously such a hassle for her to deal with.
Her feedback on my essays has been less than helpful. No details, just little sentences here and there saying things could be better or I need to not repeat myself. She even argued with my personal reflection where I gave my own opinions on how I got on with one of the essays. That part isn't even marked, it just has to be included.

So glad she isn't marking the final essay because frankly I don't think she's a competent tutor. I'll be including this and my reasons for it when I fill out the end of year survey.
It sucks that how well you do depends on how good your tutor is. If they're hopeless then you're not going to do that well because your questions aren't addressed and you feel completely unmotivated.

Essay looks fairly simple, we have an article and all we have to do is summarise it, write a critical analysis of the method of research they used in the article, and then write a bit about what kind of therapy you prefer and why. It all seems easy until you open the 15 page, ridiculously in-detail article.
It's due on Monday and I've taken Friday, Monday and Tuesday off work. We have until midnight to submit so even if I'm changing things up until the last minute or sitting up worrying about things I've missed, I don't have to worry about being up early for work. I can just relax on Tuesday and take some me time.
I'd like to at least get the summary and my personal opinion part done this week, even just doing an hour in the evenings, or some time after work or over lunch. At least then those parts are out of the way and I can focus on the big critical analysis part, knowing that the rest is done so I don't have to worry too much.

Thankfully some tutors far more helpful than my own have uploaded some really great powerpoints with some good tips and questions to think about. I'm so thankful the forum is a 'cluster' of different tutor groups, if I only had my tutor posting stuff I'd be completely screwed.

One more week and I'm done for the summer. Just one more week.
One week of pure focus and the best damn essay writing I've ever done.
