Once again this is a blog topic that could go in many different directions as there are many different types of love. There is romantic love which is what I'm sure most people would assume first upon glancing at the title.

There is also love for a close friend, or family members.

For me though, love is defined by caring so much about someone that you would do almost anything for them. Love is staying up on the phone all night comforting your best friend after her grandpa died. Love is hugging her as she cries the day after she was raped.

When you truly love someone you will do anything to keep them safe. There are people that I would honestly die to keep safe. They are more important to me then anything else including my own safety. In my opinion, without having people that you love around, there isnt much to live for.

As far as romantic love is concerned, I don't believe any of that love at first sight stuff. I personally don't believe that u can love someone unless you have spent time with them and gotten to know them. The point where everyone falls in love is different I think. I don't say that I love someone unless I mean it and I know that I do love them.
