What If..

Yes I realize that I promised I was going to bed, but I couldn't sleep so I got up and watched a movie. *laughs* So I watched Letters to Juliet. And yes it was a total and complete chick flick . Who cares, Still was a good movie.
I got to admit that the concept of what if is possible the scariest concept I can think of. What if I had done this, what if I hadn't. What If i hadn't met you, what if I hadn't told you (admittedly I didnt but u still get my point )
I had to laugh in this movie, because the action of one random person, caused one lady to find the man she had loved 50 years before. If love can survive for that long, is there anything that can truly break it? What are the bounds of love? *shrugs*
I love at the ending where certain assumptions are made, causing the guy to climb up a vine to the balcony (Best line in the movie "Of course, a balcony ) and proclaim his undying love for her. Cheesy I'll admit, but still thought provoking. And of course, in true romantic comedy style, he grabs a vine that breaks and he falls 10 feet to the ground. *laughs* god that was funny.
I wonder how many people do what Claire did in the movie. How many times are we afraid and run away from the thing that we want the most. How many times do we push people away, only to regret it later, and still don't act on it. Someone once told me, "Love can be the greatest feeling in the world, But it can also be the scariest." And they were right. Loving someone to the point where you open up completely to them, ultimately gives them complete power over your heart. Is this a good thing or not? *shrugs* I think that it depends. With the wrong person, that can be the worst thing you could do. But what if you fall in love with the right person?
What if you can trust the person with everything you have, everything that you are? There is no greater connection you can have with someone then giving them your whole heart and trusting them not to break it.
That in itself is a scary prospect. *tilts head* When will you know if you should risk it or not. I don't think you can ever actually know without just diving in so to speak and risking it. You need to find the person that is worth the risk, the person that you know that you can't live without.
I know that I am only 19, but I think I have found someone that is worth the risk.
She already has my heart, *laughs* as she once said, I guess the ball is in your side of the court now. :P
I love the lyrics for the song at the end of the movie;
"What if we were made for each other
Born to become best friends and lovers
Over and over and over again
This real love
Is this real or just a dream
In my heart is where you'll be
Ill keep waiting till we meet
What if were made for each other"
Sometimes life feels like a dream, *laughs* sometimes you just want to pinch yourself to see if you'll wake up. And sometimes your praying that you won't wake up.
O gods I just realized how sappy I'm being. Certain people are never going to let me live this down.
lol and now that I actually think I can sleep, I'm going to go try.
Ciao,
P.S. I love you. I truly do, I trust you with my entire heart.
