Well, I left on the 6th for my 8th year at Nekocon. I had a great time, but it really stunk too, because the 6th was my fiancé and I's 3 year anniversary and we always cosplay together at Nekocon and celebrate our anniversary there because that's where we got together. I saw so many couples holding hands and cuddling together there and it just made me miss him more.

I did get some great stuff while I was there. It took me forever to find Jon's anniversary present, but I finally found it and I'll be giving it to him when he comes home for his Christmas leave on December 19th. I just hope he likes it; We both love the video game series Kingdom Hearts, and in the game there's a star-shaped fruit called a paopu. There's a legend about them that if you share one with the one you love, your destinies will become intertwined and you'll remain a part of each other's lives forever. They actually exist in real life, and I've shared one with him before, so it's kind of a special thing for us. For the anniversary gift, I bought a paopu plushie that was split in half, so he could get one half and I'd get the other. My half has a charm with his first initial on it, and his half has a charm with my first initial on it.

I met up with 4 of my old friends at the Convention, it was great seeing them again! With one of my friends we went out to eat at a nice Chinese buffet, and with another I had a lot of fun at one of the convention's panels. Another friend I had fun dancing with at the Rave.
