Calm Upset

The breeze from the ocean is cool on the skin. It creates goose bumps and sends chills down spines. The dark of the night sets in. Stars shine bright overhead. The moon casts an orange glow over everything. Waves begin to crash against the rocks as the wind picks up. The spray of the waves is picked up and carried in the wind. The wind is howling as the clouds roll in. As dark as the night was before it becomes darker, more fierce. Low rumbles are heard in the background. They begin to grow louder and louder like a drum beat. The sky starts to light up. Lightning strikes the ground next to an old shed. The storm is growing stronger by the minute. Wind is whipping around and thunder is pounding through the sky like a drum beat. The lightning is crashing to the ground continuously. In an instant it's gone. The storm left just as quickly as it came. Even the calmest night can have it's upset.
