I smoke.
I smoke from ciggerates to weed
Please don't tell me this is wrong cause I already know.
I know that it will kill me.
And I know that smoking isnt the best way out for my problems.
Guess what?
So isnt cutting.
I know that what I do isnt the best way.
Please don't tell me this is wrong.
I have hate in my heart, but I have love on my mind
It is a battle everyday
From wanting to light another one up
And then wanting to stop to please my friends.
Please don't tell me this is wrong.
I invest in drugs in a way to escape
Escape this sick reality.
I can never understand why everyone
Seems to try to tell me what I'm doing is wrong
But what they are doing is perfectly fine?
Please don't tell me that what I do is wrong, cause trust me
I already know.

I can't tell if this is meant to be a poem or a rant. If it is a poem, I really like it, especially the repetition of "don't tell me" it certainly shows your frustrations with others telling you smoking cigarettes and weed is wrong, when you already know. :hug:Posted October 10th 2017 at 07:03 PM by

It is a poem. And your actually the first one who caught the frustrations I had when people criticize me when I smoke. In A LOT of my poems I use repetition. But thank you for what ya said
