So I had an epically mild cold. Then on Saturday night, I decided to buy pizza. I'd had a really really good day - Dad came over and we got my car going, plus I got mail - so I was celebrating how happy I was.

However the weather's been very rainy and a bit cold. I like it, it sure beats the drought, but here's what happened:
It wasn't raining when I left.
I crossed the road on my way home (with my pizza), and it started to rain. At the lights it started to bucket down. By the time I got home I was completely soaked.

I did the sensible thing and changed into warm dry clothes (after towelling the damp off me) straight away, but as it turns out the damage was done.

Sunday morning I was really sniffly, and I started sneezing a lot.
I still had a good day - I went out with Mum and got some gesso and some jeweller's screwdrivers, and also a new bra. And then in the afternoon I drove over to see my friend Rachael in Onehunga.

Technically I shouldn't have driven but I was careful to be safe. My car will be street legal soon, I hope.

So I sneezed and had a runny nose all day Sunday, and then I had trouble sleeping because I was far too warm. I have since been informed that Sunday night was incredibly cold, so I had a fever.

Monday morning I knew I needed a shower (I had literally been sweating all night), so I had one, but was again too warm, plus I was joined by a couple of spiders, and I got shampoo in my eye, so I wasn't impressed.

I sneezed a lot on Monday, plus my sinuses felt blocked, plus I still felt feverish, and then I got a headache. So I went to bed some time just before 9:00pm.

Today I spent most of the day in bed. I don't have a headache, I haven't sneezed as much, my nose hasn't run as much, I'm just really tired. So I think I'm now on the improving end of things, I'll know for sure tomorrow morning.

In other news, I'm starting DBT in a couple of weeks.
Yeah.

Hugs would be welcome.
