But, that's sort of okay. Me and my flatmate were melting on the lounge around 3 this afternoon, when Tristan texted and asked if he could come over. Being as we were doing nothing and simply trying not to become pools of human, we said sure. He got here and he was like, you guys want to go for a swim? We were like, at a beach? And he said yes, and we said fuck yeah!, changed into appropriate attire, and went out.

Maybe it was later than three? Must have been, because it was after 5 by the time we got to the beach. We went into the water (we weren't at a beach beach, it was this random place I forget the name of, near the Panmure wharf.) and although we complained about the ground being gross and squidgy, and all three of us were paranoid about crabs (a very real danger in that environment, although thankfully not very big crabs), we went out deep enough to chill and sit/float around. Unfortunately it wasn't high tide so it wasn't that deep, but it was enough. We spent about two hours in the water, and would have stayed longer, had Tristan not shook his hair and dislodged a crab . . . which we were then concerned about so we headed back to shore, initially at a very high speed

I cut my foot on a rock, and one of my fingers too. Ouch. But we were in salt water, so I'm not worried about infection or anything. It was just a bit stingy, that's all. After swimming we had a smoke, then went to where Tristan's staying for a bit, then visited my Mum's place for maybe five minutes, then returned to ours. We sat around for a while, had a drink, and contemplated food. The food contemplation ended up with me and Sam agreeing that I would transfer what I was saving for RuneScape to get us takeaways, and she would repay me $20 on Wednesday. Sweet. Tristan got himself some curried prawn thing, and me and Sam had pizza.

After that, I decided to see if my TV's USB playback works. It does. We watched The Lion King, and by the time that finished, it was about ten to midnight. Then we had a last smoke, Tristan left (after realising he left his wallet here luckily before he got to the end of the driveway), we called the cats inside, and here I am.

It was a good day, all in all.

My arm that got hurt when I fell off the sofa - the shoulder is still sore, and the upper arm aches intermittently. I went to scratch my shoulder blade last night using said arm, and was rewarded with a massive jolt of pain in the shoulder joint. I have no idea what I've done, there's no bruising and no swelling. Oh well, it'll get better.

Me and Sam are doing our pre-inspection clean tomorrow. There's a "final" inspection on Tuesday because Sam's moving on Wednesday, and the landlord needs to do an inspection so she can get her bond back. So we figured we'd clean Sunday/Monday so we're prepared. We've never failed an inspection so I'm not worried in the slightest, although landlords do have a tendency to make me feel uneasy.

I didn't cut last night and I probably won't tonight. The skin is too rough and tough at the moment, and I don't have the tool I want to use. Also I plan to clean in a singlet and short shorts, and I don't want Sam to see and become concerned. She knows I've been cutting lately, but not how often or how much, and I don't want to share that information with her.

Bed soon, after a bit of forum browsing.

Oh, and clothes are over-rated in this weather.
