After more than two years, it shouldn't affect me anymore. There should be no nostalgia and no regret, because I know so fully that I'm better off without her. I was going through old photos tonight, photos of the two of us. I thought I looked fit, attractive, and well adjusted. I thought SHE looked overweight with bad skin and a slutty dress sense.

I started to question why I still stayed with her, even after she cheated. And I remembered having NO self-esteem whilst I was with her, and constantly believing I was fat, and ugly, and worthless. And then just now I remembered how when I finally got free of her shackles, I realised just how abusive she had been, emotionally and verbally, and sometimes physically too. She was also very manipulative. I'm glad she's no longer a part of my life, although I still wish that every couple of months I didn't give in to the temptation to peruse her Facebook.

On a completely unrelated note, Derrick is bringing his car to our carport every night and sleeping there. I don't particularly want him around and not does anybody else, so I need to find the appropriate way to deal with that.

Also unrelated, "done" on an iPod's touch screen needs to be further away from "p", I have fat thumbs.
