Because I cannot be bothered thinking of one.

Extreme weather today, out Hobsonville way they had a tornado. Last year there was one in Albany. Reasons to be thankful that I am in South Auckland. (Manurewa, actually, if anybody feels like Google Earth stalking me.) It poured. Torrentially. Surface flooding. Heavy winds. Resultantly, I never got to the gym, because I didn't feel like getting soaked. It's kind of disappointing me that as soon as I have made up my mind to do things, other stuff gets in the way. If it's pouring again tomorrow, I'm just going to have to suck it up and go anyway. I can't let the weather stand in the way of me.

My room smells like damp clothes, because I hung my washing on my A-frame (or clothes horse or whatever you want to call it) due to the shite weather, after it had been damp in a basket for a couple of days. So my room smells vaguely unpleasant, but most of that washing should be dry and away before the end of tomorrow.

My probation officer was finally happy with me today. She says I've calmed down a lot. I think simply focussing and deciding to better myself is a key thing there. I told Leisa (she came over to teach Sam how to cook a schnitzel) that my probation officer was happy and she said that's really good. I jokingly told her that I stopped fighting my demons and we're on the same side now, she took it seriously and said that's a really good thing. Had a little lol to myself as a result. So, people are pleased, and Judy tomorrow.

We still haven't received a power bill. I'm starting to get quite anxious about how much it's going to be, as we've been living here since July, but I have more immediate money matters to attend to - next week, I get all the Christmas presents. The week of the 19th, I pay the landline and internet bill. On the 26th I pay the St John's Ambulance bill that nobody other than I knows about. (ACC wouldn't cover it because "no physical harm was caused", overlooking that I was both comatose and had arrhythmia, or so I was told, and my release note said something about tachycardia. So I have to pay for an ambulance that I didn't call for, and at the time didn't want. Fail.)

So throughout January I'll be putting lots of money aside for the power bill - I'll probably have to cut down on the smoking to achieve that - because in February I'll be keeping money aside for car stuff - wash, warrant, and register. But I shall manage, it's not like I've ever gone starving or anything like that.

Result of the tornado - 3 confirmed dead, 7 in hospital, 4 in serious condition, many homes destroyed. Everybody I know is okay though, thankfully.

I would like to get a second swimsuit. For two reasons - my current one is tight, and I would like to swim on consecutive days, and as other swimmers will know, getting into a swimsuit that's already wet (because I wear a one piece) is something of a bitch.

I also want to get one of those bug repellant thingies that sprays ever 15 - 30 minutes and keeps bugs etc. out of your house, because we are inundated with flies at the moment, and that's not hygienic. We've also had some ants inside due to the weather. They were pretty dumb, went straight past the sugar and for some reason were in the kettle. Wtf.

I got 96 Woodcutting earlier, haha. Yup.
