Well, yesterday was interesting. Sort of. So Leisa finally got us our waste-water pipe, and I was basically dancing around the house going "yaaay". We did a load of towels and it was all good, so I assumed I was safe to do the first (of many) load of my own washing. Anywho, we both left the house. Me, because yesterday was Mum's birthday and I was going over to visit her, and Sam, because she wanted to go to Southmall. Well, whatever.

I was almost at the Otahuhu bus depot, when my phone rang. Receiving a call from our landline. (I really have to do something about that . . . cellphone calls = expensive.) So I answered it, wondering why on Earth Sam needed to ring me. She said the house was flooded. So I was like, aaaah shit. So I got her to walk around to the back of our unit (she was scared the water on the floor was live), open the back door, and see what was happening. Anyway I eventually told her to get some help from Derrick, one of our neighbours, and between the two of them they turned off the power (unnecessary) and got rid of the majority of the water on the floor. (Necessary.) So I let Sam know that it was safe to turn the power back on. So she did.

When I got home, the water was still there, but drying, and wasn't as bad as Sam has made out, for which I was glad. Turns out the waste-water pipe had jumped out of the tub and off the machine. Just my luck. So now we have a hose-clamp, and I have no idea (due to the design of the machine . . . fucking modern machinery, so annoying, wish I'd just brought my machine when we moved in.), how to put the hose clamp on so that it works. Also, I'll find some cable ties or some duct-tape or something to force the pipe to continue to expel its contents into the tub. Unfortunately there isn't one of those plastic thingies that usually guides the pipe into the tub. I don't know who took the original pipe off Sam's washing machine, but if I ever find out who did it, I will punch them in the face.

So that was that.

Then, over night, I had a very unusual dream, in a number of ways. First of all, Olly was in it. Now, I love Olly, and she's always been a good friend, but I haven't worked with her for months now and dreaming about her was . . . odd. Anyway, in the dream, everybody was convinced that I was low, and Olly was hugging me and stroking my hands and telling me it was ok, and I was trying desperately to explain that I'm not low, I'm perfectly ok, and nobody would believe me. So that was weird. The hugs (even though they were dream hugs) were nice though.

And this morning I woke up at 3:17 . . . so, I guess, 4 hours sleep? Maybe less? I didn't get up until half past six though, and didn't get around to breakfast until closer to ten. Lazy day haha. Awake for a lot of it though.

Started a new Stephen King book called Cujo. It was free. Also, I haven't read it before.

Leisa came over and took us up to the gym and NOW I HAVE A GYM MEMBERSHIP AT A GYM I CAN ACTUALLY GET TO! Yaaaaay! Excited about that. Probably going to go use it tomorrow after I visit Judy.

And . . . probation. I thought Annette was going to be away this week (and she thought that last week) but turns out she was still here and so I saw her. Still trying to complete that damn safety plan, just don't want to do it. I hate safety plans. And blah blah blah.

I've been getting really angry really easily and I don't like loud noise. It's frustrating because I don't want to feel angry. So I try and calm down and it's been working, but if the wrong person fucks me off at the wrong time, there's probably going to be trouble.

So instead of (as the dream suggested) me going low, I think I'm going to that shaky unpredictable high place. I'm not too bothered, but I wish I could get stoned. Yup.
