. . . that on the 21st of September 2012, at 1830hours, Viscus_Aduro achieved 99 Firemaking. First 99, first skillcape. Victory is miiiiiine. Sort of.

Court: took all damn day. Got up at 8:30am, got to court around 9:30am. The general rule with court is as long as you turn up before 11:00am, you'll be okay, because there's simply so many people to see duty solicitors that you have to wait ages. Anyway, by the time I finally got seen by a duty solicitor, it was 11:30am.

But then my luck turned!

The duty solicitor who saw me, was, (*dun duuuun, the supervising duty solicitor, and, therefore, the most helpful and useful duty solicitor on-shift. We went through everything, and she said she strongly believed that I shouldn't even have a community work sentence. I intimated that I agreed entirely. We went through some other stuff, and she said clearly your mental health is interfering with quite a bit. Wait to state the obvious, but it's nice when they actually acknowledge it.

So then it was off to Courtroom 4, where I got seen almost immediately, and entered my guilty pleas - well, the duty solicitor did that for me. She also said (and this made me laugh in my head) "Ms Grey is experiencing severe medical issues". I mean, I suppose technically it's true, but I never think of it like that. So we got transferred to Courtroom 1.

Sometime in there I visited the toilet then had a smoke. Whilst in the toilet, I discovered that the reason my right boob had felt itchy and painful all day thus far was that the underwire was poking out of my bra and into the breast tissue. I have a bit of a graze there as a result. Anywho I pulled the underwire the rest of the way out, problem solved.

Into Courtroom 1. Duty solicitor blahblahblahs to the judge. The judge, as it were, seemed quite friendly and of a good humour - completely the opposite to the judge in Taupo, who, you will know if you follow my blog, was a cranky old geezer. Anyway the judge said he could sort it out that day and we just needed a piece of paper.

So I wandered around for a bit whilst the duty solicitor sorted out that piece of paper. Then she got it, and we went back into Courtroom 1. Oh yeah, there was also an hour long adjournment or whatever for lunch. But yeah, back to Courtroom 1. And (aside from the judge calling walking on the median barrier "a silly, dangerous escapade", which I agree with, but damn it was fun, so I grinned), the outcome is as follows:

Convicted of breaching community work, and remainder of community work sentence cancelled.
Convicted of criminal nuisance, to be sentenced if called upon within 6 months.

Best. Outcome. Ever.
As far as community work is concerned, a cancellation is what I have been hoping for all along. And the criminal nuisance? Well, let's put it this way: I thought I was looking at Home Detention, Curfew, or jail time for sure. So I am very glad of the outcome.

Oh yeah, and there was a warrant to arrest me (for failure to appear), and a charge of breaching bail (because I didn't turn up on Tuesday), but both were withdrawn because I showed up and dealt with the matter today.

So yeah . . . if you ever get a choice, pick the most experienced duty solicitor. She might be busier than all the others put together, but she'll get the job done well. Lol, if I can ever afford to hire a lawyer, I'm hiring her.

So I missed my appointment with Judy because I was at court. Am I bothered? Not a dickybird.
Leisa rang, she's coming over on Monday to sort out a gym membership for me. I'm excited about that, although, right now, I'd far rather have the wastewater pipe and some clean clothes than a gym membership. Priorities, you know.

Judy dropped by on her way home to drop off my meds. I didn't talk long, two reasons: Judy, at my house, in her car? Uncomfortable. Also, this was basically immediately prior to me getting my 99. And furthermore, I haven't been taking my meds. Don't really want to get into that conversation with my keyworker at this point in time.

Sam didn't get out of hospital today. Hopefully she'll get out on Monday. Her team and stuff are about a bad day short of putting her back into shared care/residential. I really don't want that to happen. I like our flat the way it is, with us as the flatmates. I don't want a new flatmate. I don't want to have to get used to a new person. I don't want to live alone and be responsible for the entirety of the bills (sharing makes it so much easier). I just don't want our flat to change. We've only been here since the end of July, another change in that time would probably throw me off the deep-end, and then I'd probably end up in care too, and then I'd lose my cat. I love my cat. He's gorgeous and friendly and has at least another 10 years ahead of him. He's 3, so yeah.

And I've been getting tired then sleeping silly amounts (silly small) then feeling not tired then getting tired again. It's almost a normal sleep pattern, but at the same time, it totally isn't.

Night guys.
