I mean seriously. My cat does it, Sam's cat does it. You'll just be sitting somewhere in a quiet house, and suddenly hear the sound of a cat lapping water . . . coming to your ears via soundwaves being transmitted from the bathroom. Now, I know from various T.V. shows that toilet water isn't that dirty (unless you've recently pissed in it and not flushed), and that cats are sensible and don't drink things that will make them sick. Although my cat's a bit of an idiot, and he still eats Cheeky's meat even though it makes him sick.

But yeah. Cats and toilets. And then later on, that wtf moment of there being a cat hair on the toilet seat. Oh well, at least it's not a pube.

I got bored today so I went and visited Mum. I got bored at Mum's house too. Then I went out and looked at cars with Mum and Philip, which was considerably more interesting than sitting around. Philip bought a car for $2850. More expensive than my car, but he DID have $2400 of that in his account, whereas my car was purchased entirely with other people's money. It's a 1993 Toyota Corolla sedan. The paint job is interesting . . . it's somewhere between lilac and lavender. It doesn't have any rust or dings though. And under the hood! Beauty. 16 valve engine. All the electrics and so forth clearly refurbished by a professional. Cam belt recently done. Everything slick and smooth and . . . well, it was clearly the car of either a boy racer or a hobbyist. Phil reckons that it wasn't a boy racer. I beg to differ. Who else puts in a speedo that goes up to 240km/h? But I'm content to let him believe it was merely a hobbyist. It's a nice car, it runs well, and it should serve him well for at least ten years. Although based on his current expendable income, he'll probably upgrade to something shinier as soon as he gets his full. Although, he does still have yet to pass his restricted. Lol. I have my full license, it's just that it's currently . . . revoked. But here's hoping I'll get it back come the end of October.

And! It's September now! So hopefully I only have two months to wait. Goodness, it's been so long. I miss my car so much. Although I do sorta need to get the rocker cover gaskets replaced . . . sorta blew them somewhere along the line . . . ;P

I attempted to cook dippy eggy bread for dinner. Only, dumbass, didn't trust my gut, and the pot actually WAS on a rolling boil before I thought it was - it's hard to tell because my pot has a steam vent - and overcooked them. Yuck. I don't like cooked egg yolk. I'm not entirely sure why, I just don't. So I ate the egg whites and most of the toast. And then I felt ridiculously full, and out of nowhere, disproportionately tired. So I decided to relax in front of my laptop. Next time I cook dippy eggy bread, I'll go with my gut for the cooking time. That was sort of a waste of eggs and bread.

I was going to have a shower tonight and then I realised that none of my underwear are dry yet. I attempted to handwash my undies and socks last night. It didn't work very well. I don't have sunlight soap, OR a scrub board, OR even just a scrubbing brush. So I did my best with hot water and persil, and I suppose my stuff is cleaner than it WAS, but it's still all going to be washed again as soon as we get a waste-water pipe. And of course, I had to wring it out by hand, so it was a lot damper to start with than it would have been had it gone through a washing machine spin cycle. So I guess I won't be showering until it dries. I'm okay with re-using less than clean top layers, but I refuse to re-wear less than clean underwear. That's just unhygienic.

Sam's still in hospital. Hopefully she'll get out on Monday. She's managed to have a few sneaky cigarettes although she said she got busted having one at some point, but they haven't searched her or anything, so that's good. It's really hard being in hospital, because NRT is just NOT the same as having a smoke.

Anywho. I'm sure I have more to say but I simply cannot be bothered typing it. Tally Ho.
