So. Cold calling went well, I guess. And based on the weather, it genuinely was cold calling. Polar blasts, we get the every year, and the same people complain about the "unseasonsable cold" every year . . . it's just part of living in a country which isn't too far afield of Antarctic meteorology. In other words, it's just life. Personally I don't like freezing my butt off, but on the bright side, at least the weather's nice. Cold, but nice.

Oh, back to cold calling. Dropped off somewhere between 5 and 10 CVs, lost count. Apparently we're going to do it again. I don't actually like it, in fact I nearly ran away when I was faced with getting into my workbroker's car because I was panicking. Not panicking about the cold calling, panicking about being in the goddam car. I find it really hard to be in the cars of people I don't know really well and trust. So because she's only an acquaintance, it was really hard. I was good though, I sat in the front seat (it's so much easier when it's acceptable for you to sit in the back) and I took deep breaths, and although I didn't enjoy it, I still got it done. The cold calling itself was no trouble, I've actually done it before, just not in the area and industries I did it in today. If I get a job out of it, then that will be good.

I'm wearing my pyjamas and my dressing gown and fingerless gloves and a beanie. And boy is it comfy, so much so that I'm actually getting kinda sleepy. Which isn't actually too surprising because I only got about 4 hours sleep last night. I went to bed around 1, but then I just lay there awake, and awake, and awake, and the last time I checked my phone it was 03:39, and I was thinking it was ridiculous, but I guess I must have fallen asleep not long after that. And then I have to get up at 08:30 for cold calling. I wasn't tired though, in fact I only just in the last couple of minutes since I mentioned it realised that I'm sleepy.

I would write more, but, you know, RuneScape.
