Half past 11 at night. Current temperature: 8 degrees celsius. Predicted overnight low: 1 degree celsius. Temperatures over the last week overnight: averaged 11-13 degrees celsius.
Yup, I am totally feeling the cold, and tomorrow I will check on the MetService website to see what the low actually ended up being.
I haven't smoked any tobacco in the last 24 hours. This wasn't intentional, it just happens to be that I've been occupied doing other stuff, like mowing the lawn, tagging along with Mum when she went to get Philip, getting 92 Firemaking, and until around 1pm this afternoon, sleeping. I might go out and have a smoke once I finish this blog entry.
Court is really soon. Really, really soon. It's on Monday. That's about half a week away. And now that it's so close, I'm apprehensive. SO apprehensive. Mum said we're going to be advised separately, I already knew that. I'm just, as I've already said here a few times, hoping for a lighter/lesser sentence. I don't know if my offense is jailable (I actually don't think it is, but I'm not sure), but I'm still concerned. If I get jailed, then it's going to ruin my career basically. A lifetime of the unemployment benefit . . . or the sickness benefit . . . is not something I want, actually. Because if I spend my life on a benefit, I'll never be able to afford freedom or independence. And freedom and independence are such hugely important things to me. They help me keep my head screwed on.
Going cold-calling with my workbroker tomorrow. Need to be there at 10:30am. Getting out of bed at 8:30am, first time in a while. Well, about a fortnight, I had to get up relatively early to judge at KB - which ended up being a bit of a fiasco because of the migraine. Nevermind, there'll be other competitions.
I just can't actually express how nervous and anxious I am about court. I'm not scared, as I said, I'm apprehensive. It's mainly because I don't know what to expect. If I knew what to expect, we'd be away laughing, but I don't.
Gosh it must be cold in my room, I'm freaking shivering.
Oh wells.
EDIT (12:30am):
Just found out why my toes are so cold. "6.1 degrees celsius. Feels like 3 degrees celsius."
Holy fuck.
