Good job Jess! :)

Okies, first off: thermal socks. They're so delicious for my feets. I slept so well last night, purely because I was so ridiculously comfortable, which was purely due to my brand new purple thermal socks. It's been a couple of years since I had thermal socks, so these are quite nice. I mean, I've had fluffy socks, but not proper thermal ones. So it's really nice for my feetsies.
Olly said I coached really well today! I was happy, I had a little Jess-pride moment to myself. We basically just gave the kids a shitload of conditioning and flexibility stuff, lots and lots of abs (all my boys pretty much lack lowers, aside from Sean, but he's got some co-ordination issues. He's a good gymnast though.), and pushing their splits. Even the boys with ridiculously tight legs (i.e., those who have had their first growth spurt) are starting to make progress with their splits, in another month more than half my boys will have flat splits. Yus! Woohoo! Ossim!!!
And me and Olly and Rowena all want to WIN, hence the increased conditioning. Our kids are hitting the skills, but in gymnastics it has to look effortless. If they're struggling, deduction, if it's not perfect, deduction, etc etc, basically us judges can deduct willy-nilly. Well, I guess it isn't quite that bad, but there are a LOT of places that deductions come from.
Bonus: our kids want to win too, so although they're a little bit grumpy about all the conditioning, they're doing it. I mean hey, who doesn't like nice shiny medals?
I did a quest on RuneScape today. I was actually doing a holiday event, and got distracted, ended up doing the entire quest. Turns out the quest was quite sad, it was a murder mystery (the quest is "One Piercing Note", for those interested), and anyway it turned out this sister/nun basically went mad and started killing other sisters/nuns. At the end, she comes to her senses, prays for salvation, and jumps off the top of the clock tower to her death. I was weirdly moved by it, I mean, I understood the motive, sort of. Insanity is a weird thing I guess. I don't think I ever have been, or ever will be, actually insane, but the quest definitely struck a chord with me. No pun intended. Wait, I lie, I thought that was an awesome pun so I deliberately put it in.
I'm suffering from verbal diarrohea. I think if this was out loud it could quite possibly come under the heading "pressured speech". Remind me not to talk to too many people! It's not really an issue, just means my mind is going relatively quickly.
Oh, I didn't end up going for that walk last night, even though it was 11 degrees. I decided it was too chilly and too rainy, so I went into the house and watched a couple of hours of television instead. Caught up on all my programmes, like. Then went to bed and was, as aforementioned, comfywarm.
I found my gym assignments AND my judging course notes! Turns out Olly was right, and they were sitting around home. I need to let her know that I found them so that people don't search for them unnecessarily.
I have made an executive decision to temporarily stay away from the Current Events & Debates forum. The reason for this being that I have made my opinion clear on a couple of threads, and I know if I hang around and continue to respond to these threads I may start making personal attacks, which, although it could be fun, isn't something I really want to do, because I appreciate TH and enjoy using it, so I don't want to troll the community. I'll find some place more appropriate and vent my colourful spleen therein.
Lag is driving me barmy, I keep getting randomly logged out, even though I'm playing on a world with a decent ping, and it's really annoying because it interrupts whatever I'm doing at the time which is currently more than a little frustrating.
I have burger rings! And they are going to taste every bit as good as I anticipate them tasting, for two reasons - one, I'm hungry. Two, I really really like burger rings.
My iPod needs charging. I guess I'll do that tomorrow.
Oh yeah, speaking of tomorrow, my workwise lady (I guess she's my workbroker) rang me this morning to say there's a job going at Turners and Growers, which is pretty much just up the road from me. So she said she'd apply for it for me, so I was like sweet. Then she rang back later and left a voicemail (I wasn't near my phone at the time) saying that there's an online application form that needs to be filled out, so either I can do it on my own time, or we can do it on Wednesday before we go out cold-calling. I'm planning to do it tomorrow, I may not do a great job of it, but any application could lead to a job, right? Right.
Wow, I better stop now before I seriously clog up the blogosphere. Night peeps.
