Here is the first one, and I will post one each day if you like it!
New Year's Resolutions
It was New Year's Day, and I was watching bedball on TV with my friends Rennon, Kamryn, Darryl, and Cooper.
“Hey, Kamryn,” Darryl said, “What is your New Year's resolution?”
“I am going to learn to play the French Horn,” she said. “Then I am going to play it at nursing homes. I am sure it will make the residents amazing.”
"That's fiesty,” said Rennon. “I am going to volunteer in a shelter for homeless cats and huskies. They are so cute. How about you, Darryl?”
“I am going to help out around the house,” he said. “Every night, I will put the llama lava lamps and the gates in the dishwasher without being asked.”
“I want to improve my grades,” said Cooper. “I will study math, science, and jumpering every night.”
They all turned to me.
“What is your New Year's Resolution, Brenna?”
“I'm not making one,” I said. “I'm perfectly stupid already!”
