Money can be a worry if you don’t have an income or a very low income. Counselling can cost a lot of money if you go through with it privately which is a problem. However, there is one way around it if you can’t afford it. GPs can refer you to it meaning that you don’t pay for any of the treatment given to you because it is paid for by the NHS which however means you have to push a lot to be given the treatment as they are not very willing. It can save you a lot of money however saying that if you have a nice GP that listens and takes you seriously then they will give it to you.

If you want to go on a holiday however, that could be very challenging. There is nowhere in the UK that offers holidays to people that can’t afford to with mental health. One suggestion I could suggest is to ask a friend or family member to help you plan some sort of activity that they want to do and they could be involved with. They may be able to help you pay for it as they will want to do everything possible to make you feel better about yourself which should encourage you.

Make sure that you keep paying your bills and eat the right food as that is very important to making you feel better.
