Dealing with the pressures of home

Home life can be challenging at times because of all the changes that will need to be made to help you make yourself better. However people at home may not be as accepting to the changes as you are so it is important that you can respect.
Don’t be surprised of you find that people do get a bit moody towards you for a while. This is perfectly normal as it can be hard for people to accept the changes that you are going to have to make. The best piece of advice that I can give on the matter is to give people time to come around after you say that change is needed as they may not be able to accept the changes you have said.
Try to make home as comfortable as you can for you however hard that may be for everyone else. Try to get your family to treat you like you have a physical illness such as cancer because that may be the way that they have to see it to understand how serious it is for you and that may be the way that they change.
If they don’t change have a chat with your family so that they can understand what changes are needed. If they get angry try again later in the day or a different day but home is the most important place to be with an illness such as depression.
