If you have lived in the same place or area, for a very long time then maybe you need to think a bit outside the box. Sometimes the only way that you can cope is to try and restart your lives. That may sound scary but with these easy steps it will be ok:

Firstly go on holiday to somewhere new to experience something new. For me I decided to go to York as I for one love trains. I found that it made me feel almost better whilst I was away and I felt like when I came back I wanted to go straight back. Holidays are a great way to clear the mind.

Secondly, look at where you work. I go to Cirencester College which is 25 miles away from home so it felt like a good idea to go closer. I had a chat with Mum and Dad and they were very happy to go through with me to help get over this.

Thirdly go with your heart, as you need to know what is right for you. Even moving house in the same town means that you are away from places that could be a danger to you.

Do what is best for you and remember that this is a group decision with the people you live with it may work for you. Don’t be afraid to try something new…
