Family support is just as important as friends support. The most important people that need to know are your parents or the people that you live with. They need to be the people that make the changes to help support you. Saying to your parents however is harder than you would think but you don’t have to face it alone. I for one didn’t. Say to one of your closest friends first that you know will trust you than ask for their advice and get them to help you say. In my case, my friend that I chose helped me to write a letter to say to my parents that helped me change my home life to suit my needs. He also helped say to other friends as I didn’t feel strong enough myself.

Saying to other family members is up to you. The only thing that they know in my case is that I am seeing a councillor but they don’t know why as they don’t see me all the time and that is how I want it to be. It’s your choice if you decide and I think that is up to you.

Remember that you need to say to your home but the rest is up to you so don’t be forced to do what you don’t want to do. People are there to help you and want to help you so take every opportunity that you can, especially if you can make them do your chores….

It may make you fell much better
