PTSD And How To Overcome It

Lots of people have this disorder, and half of them probably don't even know it. What is funny about this disorder is that it is easily fixed. I don't think medications or therapy is needed. Once you realize that somethings in life you just can not change, things seem to just get back to "normal".
What is normal? Hell, everyone has their own definition. I don't like the word "normal", mainly because nothing is "normal". Things/people are just one way or another; just different. I for one am not "normal", but I like it that way. I like being the "odd-ball" and just being different. I think differently, and that I would have to say, is the way to overcome anything! Analyze situations. Ask question. Some questions may sound dumb to other people, but I assure you, after you ask them, you'll never have to ask them again.
Everyone goes through situations in their lives. If you're reading this, you probably went through some traumatic experiences at a younger age, or even yesterday. I can assure you though, everything will be OK. Your life will go on, and you can live it happily. I can even be here to help along the way, if you need it.
I remember as a child, finding my mother passed out in her own vomit in the bathroom, after a long night of partying. Or the times she would hide my brother and I in the closest when the Department of Social Services would stop by to check on us because we never went to school. OR (lol) all the times I watched her get put into the back of a police car.
These are all things that would make a child have PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder), but I overcame it because I knew none of it was my fault. My mother had issues, just as everyone does. Her's just happen to be worse then others. A person's outlook on life can affect everything. The only thing you need to remember is that, bad things happen to everyone. It's just a part of life. Once you accept that, you will be a happier person, and PTSD free!
